CloudBox 4.0

As a gateway, the CloudBox 4.0 establishes the connection between the Internet and the wireless sensors and actuators in the home. For this purpose, the CloudBox 4.0 has several connections. The USB-C connection is used to power the CloudBox via the USB power supply. In the future, the CloudBox can be expanded to include additional radio protocols via the USB-A connection. The CloudBox is connected to your router via WiFi. Alternatively, you can also connect the CloudBox via a network cable. When you buy a CloudBox, your customer account gives you free access to the everHome service for as long as the CloudBox is in use. It is not necessary for a PC, iPhone, iPad, SmartPhone or tablet to be in the home network. Several CloudBoxes can also be used with the customer account in order to increase the radio range in larger buildings or to also control a second home. To do this, each sensor/actuator in the portal is assigned one of the CloudBoxes.
